Fire Basic Course

COURSE OVERVIEW

• This is a 4hr course for all employees, volunteers and long term contractors. This course covers a range of issues detailed in home office and HSE guidelines.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

• All persons employed are required to recieve fire training initially, as appropiate and if there is a change of circumstances

COURSE OBJECTIVES

• By the end of the course the attendee will have:
1. Greater understanding of the behaviour of fire
2. Know the actions to take in th event of fire
3. Understand the intended use and identify the different type of fire extinguishers.
4. Understand the different classifications of fire.
5. Understand the procedure for dealing with an incident in the workplace
